NOTE: KODI 18.9 DOES NOT WORK ON ANDROID 4 VERSIONS, WORKS ON ANDROID 5.1 AND ABOVE
STEP 1.~ UNINSTALL KODI
Uninstall Kodi – The reason this is done is most boxes come “pre-loaded” and they are usually full of garbage or outdated, or you have a build that needs removing or you just want a fresh start
How to uninstall kodi on android devices
From the device home screen > click SETTINGS > APPS > KODI > UNINSTALL
NOTE: If you have KD Player or RKMC APP uninstall it as it will conflict and stop you installing a fresh kodi, so as above you would do this
From the device home screen > click SETTINGS > APPS > KD PLAYER or RKMC > UNINSTALL

STEP 2.~ INSTALL KODI
KODI 18.9 APP INSTALL FOR ANDROID 5.1 AND ABOVE
1~ From the device home screen open google
2~ Type in kodi.tv/download
3~ Click the link https://kodi.tv>download
3a) NOTE: If you cannot for some reason download from the kodi website, CLICK HERE> KODI 18.9 LEIA
4. Scroll down and click the green android > click RELEASE ARM7A (32BIT)
5. Wait until the download arrow STOPS FLASHING top right, then CLOSE the browser
6. Open APP INSTALLER from your shortcut or from inside “APPS” or “MY APPS”
7. Click LOCAL DISK then scroll until you find KODI 18.7.2 and INSTALL
Follow the on screen prompts
Kodi 18.9 is now installed
