WARNING SPECIAL NOTICE: In all versions of Kodi KRYPTON if you delete ADDONS27.DB on Android or fire devices, in Windows it`s just named ADDONS27, all addons will be disabled and you will have to enable them all, fix is at the bottom of this page
ANDROID AND FIRE DEVICES KODI 16.1
1.~ From the Kodi home screen>under SYSTEM click FILE MANAGER>PROFILE DIRECTORY>DATABASE
2.~ Highlight ADDONS20.DB>bring up the context menu and delete ADDONS20.DB>restart Kodi and check for updates

1.~ Close Kodi>from the Windows 10 home screen type in run in the bottom left search bar
2.~ Click run (desktop app)>type in %appdata% including the two % type it in lower case, do not use caps
3.~ Click OK>open the Kodi folder>open USERDATA folder
4.~ Open DATABASE folder>right click and delete ADDONS20.db (Kodi 16.1) or ADDONS27 (Kodi KRYPTON).
5.~ Close any open windows and open Kodi>check for updates
