If you have the newer Amazon os which is 5.2.4.1 then you go down to “your apps and games”…highlight Kodi and press the menu button on remote with 3 lines. Select move to front.

From the home screen select SETTINGS>APPLICATIONS>MANAGE INSTALLED APPLICATIONS>KODI>LAUNCH APPLICATION>now exit KODI>return to the device home screen ,KODI will now appear under RECENT

NOTE: If you can not see Kodi in YOUR APPS AND GAMES ,scoll along and select SEE ALL

If you have an older version of Amazon operating system ,go down to “your apps” scroll over and open Kodi from there to put back in recent.
