From kodi home screen > click settings (cog wheel at top left) > player settings > settings level at the bottom > click to advanced or expert > videos > on the right beneath processing untick both mediacodecs.
If that does not help try different combinations.

From kodi home screen > click SYSTEM > PLAYER > SETTINGS LEVEL at the bottom > click to advanced or expert > click VIDEOS top left > on the right beneath PROCESSING untick both mediacodecs.
